Time line of My Journey from Pain to Mobility

I wanted to share the timeline of what I experienced so people could really understand the journey better, and just how amazing and quickly things can shift even if it is something that has been going on for months. This is not all the experiences I had, just the ones I remember from various dates I remembered


November 7 - feeling pain in hips, needed to put a cushion under my hips to prop them up to alleviate the pain


November & December

-varying degrees of discomfort, still able to sit for extended periods of time and contacted my team of helpers a few times as I knew something was out, needing help with the physical while I worked on and healed the emotional & mental


January

-still able to sit for awhile pain getting worse and mobility more difficult. Sitting for extended periods of time becoming painful and getting comfortable in any position difficult, pain moving from tailbone, down sciatica into my hamstring and calf


Jan 22 - had an appointment with holistic practitioner, lots of pain and mobility reduced, whole appointment was spent relaxing muscles and putting my body parts back in alignment


Jan 30 - massage, muscles very tight, muscles disengaged & weak, unable to touch toes, sacrum pushed forward, was suggested going to an osteopath


February

-sitting still very painful, unable to do for extended periods of time, and when I got up experienced much pain. trips to red deer hard as sitting that long was painful, and caused sciatica pain. moving and walking very slowly, flexibility reduced


Feb 18 - had an osteopath appointment, very stiff and in pain after the drive to Red Deer, cried when I laid down on the table as everything hurt, moving and changing positions goes slowly and painful, sat during my sisters appointment for 1 hour, got a huge stab of pain from hip into the leg and had to breath to through it until it eased off


Feb 21 - unable to make the trip to red deer as mobility and pain were high


Feb 27 - had a massage, muscles even weaker, mobility & flexibility reduced, muscles in trauma & survival mode feeling clenched and tight 24/7


March

-pain increasing and constant, muscles feeling like they are clenched all the time, moving very slowly, limited movement in hips and flexibility in legs and hips minimal, unable to straighten legs to stretch them, have to use my hand to put my foot on my knee on both legs, as my legs don't have the strength to do it themselves and it is very painful, putting on socks is challenging. Getting into vehicle very painful, many times resulting in tears from the pain, unable to push against my left leg to move my hips on the car seat, so i need to use my arms, unable to lift leg into bed, have to use my arms and grab headboard to move onto my side, can't use legs or hips to sit up in bed I have to push myself up with my arms, spend some days just laying on the floor hoping to find a comfortable position and barely moving


Mar 24 - had a zoom meeting, after sitting for 30 minutes my body got continuous stabs of pain so bad I ended up crying and it took over 5 minutes for it to subside.


Mar 26 - had another osteopath appointment, still limited movement, flexibility and lots of pain especially along the sciatica nerve, very stiff and in pain from sitting, moving very slowly, getting stabbing pains that stops me in my step and I need to pause before walking as I wait for it to stop, especially after getting out of a vehicle.


April

-still lots of pain, especially down my leg along sciatica nerve, traveling in a vehicle still difficult, resulting in a lot of pain, minimal relief from pain, lots of pain after getting up, needing to pause for it to relax enough to walk and walk it out to loosen things us, sitting for extended periods of time, not possible, unable to do bridge, minimal flexibility, moving slowly, still unable to put the foot on my knee without using my hands to do it. I can't put hands over head without pain, unable to step up on a ladder, have to walk down stair with the same leg leading, no flow, difficult to go down on the floor and ground and get back up, sometimes needing assistance


April 1 - acupuncture - lots of pain along tailbone, still getting stabbing pain, hips and leg in much pain along sciatica.


April 16 - still lots of pain, whenever tailbone and hips were put in they went back out. Still getting stabbing pain when walking that cause me to double over in pain when walking, walking eventually loosens things up until I sit again, suggested going to a chiropractor, the sooner the better, muscles in calf floppy and loosing muscle tone, excruciating pain during massage so much so couldn't get it done and was in tears from the pain.


April 21 - got chiropractor work, moving slowly & in much pain, everything is tight and sore


April 26 - went to a wellness expo as a exhibitor, needed my tailbone pillow, felt surprisingly great and pain free all day, as soon as I got in my vehicle pain started coming back again


April 27 - got a new mattress with hopes it would offer more support pain increased


April 28 - 29 - pain increasing, mobility decreasing


April 30 - almost unable to walk in so much pain and unable to put on socks, cried the whole way during my drive to my dads, pain off the charts, barely able to move, put old mattress back on the bed


May

still unable to sit for long periods of time, need to sit on a hard chair with a tailbone cushion, pain when in vehicle especially for long trips, pain when I got out of vehicle, limited mobility, especially in hips, unable to touch toes, unable to pull around an wagon, walking very slow


May 13 - moving a bit better, still in pain, bit more mobility, moving slightly faster


May 16 - had a hair appointment, pain driving into town, limited mobility, moving slowly, constant pain still going down leg, almost unable to sit up after having hair washed, hips very stiff, unable to bend over well, can't touch toes, discussed at hair appointment that I didn't know how I would be able to garden and get plant the garden


May 20 - able to go on more short trips, standing for long 20 minutes challenging, still pain sitting and getting up and walking after sitting, more ease while getting in vehicles


May 27 - had a zoom meeting still sore after sitting for 1 hour, but able to sit for 1 hour, when asked what I wanted for my theta healing it was reduction in pain, more mobility and flexibility


June

things are great, no pain going down my leg, able to touch toes, mobility much better as is flexibility, I can put my foot on my other knee without help, easily get into bed, turn over in bed and get up without using arms, can put on pants and socks with grace and ease, climb ladders, put arms over my head, travel to red deer without pain, moving more quickly, dancing, planting the garden,


June 3 - went on monthly long grocery run trip 90% pain free, easily able to get into and out of vehicle, walking my normal fast pace, bend over,


June 6 - 15

planting the garden, digging and planting potatoes, hoeing the garden, rototilling, weed wacking, bending over continuously to plant corn, planted carrots one seed at a time while sitting on my butt, pulling around a wagon filled with stuff for gardening, mowing the lawn, sitting for hours to work on website and other computer work, sitting on floor and ground with grace and ease and easily able to get up by myself, strength back in muscles, able to touch toes, still have stiffness in knees and ankle, and discomfort after hours of gardening
